I get it. I’ve been there. I know how frustrating getting (and staying) in shape can be. At one point in my life I weighed almost 300 pounds and was convinced that I was doomed to a life of diabetes and bad knees.
As I inched closer to the 300lb mark I decided to put my foot down and do something about it. A year later after A LOT of self-education, testing, blood, sweat, and tears I had lost 80lbs of fat and was in the absolute best shape of my life.
Once I got to this point I was struck with one extremely scary realization: the things I did to lose the first 80lbs did not fit with my lifestyle. I was forcing myself to follow strict guidelines I knew I couldn’t commit to long term.
